Wiring
The parallel distribution unit carries one power input and one data input per battery unit, and a single output to the load.
AC230V/20ATwo P25 units, 230 V single-phase.
AC230V/30AThree P25 units, 230 V single-phase.
AC400V/10AThree 230 V P25 units in parallel make 400 V three-phase — all three required, or the system loses a phase.
How the parallel link is wired
Each P25 runs one power cable and one data cable to its own input pair on the distribution unit.
The distribution unit has three input pairs (L1 / L2 / L3); one pair per battery unit.
Only the distribution unit output feeds the load. Battery units are never connected to the load directly.
Each unit keeps its own protective device; no unit back-feeds another.
Three configurations, one platform
Start with a single unit and add parallel units only when the load demands it. Every configuration runs the same battery unit and the same distribution unit.
P25
The core unit. A fanless, self-cooling 230 V power station that replaces the combustion generator on site — no exhaust, no idling noise, no fuel run.
Two or three units linked through the parallel distribution unit for 230 V single-phase loads. Power and capacity stack — start with two, add a third when the job needs it.
Three 230 V P25 units in parallel produce the 400 V three-phase supply that runs tools which will not start on single phase. All three are required — remove one and the system loses a phase. Carried and assembled by hand: no crane, no lifting gear.
The questions buyers actually ask before a first order — answered with numbers from our own datasheets, not from a brochure.
What is a portable power station?
A portable power station is a battery-based energy storage unit that delivers mains-quality AC power where there is no grid connection. Hitama builds two ranges: the P-series for industrial use on site (2,500 W to 7,500 W rated, 2.7 kWh to 8.1 kWh usable, 230 V single-phase or 400 V three-phase), and the C24 for home and outdoor use (2,400 W, 2,048 Wh, expandable to 10.24 kWh).
Can a portable power station replace a diesel generator?
For most construction-site loads, yes — with two conditions. The unit has to cover the continuous draw of your tools, not only their start-up peak; and a site that runs on 400 V three-phase needs a three-phase parallel system rather than a single unit. Both are configuration questions, not product questions, so send us your tool list and we will size it.
How long can a portable power station run a welder?
It depends on the welder, its current setting and its duty cycle — not on one headline number, which is why we do not publish a single welding runtime. Usable capacity is divided by the average draw over the working cycle; a welder that idles between beads consumes far less than its rated input. Tell us the welder model and electrode size and we will work the numbers with you.
What is a fanless power station?
A fanless (passively cooled) power station moves heat through its housing instead of through a fan. On a dusty or wet site that matters twice over: there is no fan to pull abrasive dust into the electronics, and no intake to clog and shorten service life. The P-series (P25 / P25-D / P25-T / P36) is fanless and rated IP54. The C24 home and outdoor series is a different design: it is actively cooled and has an air intake, which is why we do not describe it as fanless.
Can I connect multiple power stations in parallel?
Yes. Two P25 units with a P25-D distribution unit give 5,000 W rated and 5.4 kWh usable; three units give 7,500 W and 8.1 kWh. With a P25-T distribution unit the same three units deliver 400 V three-phase. The units stay independent — you can run one on its own and add the others when the load grows.
What is 400 V three-phase output?
Three 230 V P25 units, combined through a P25-T distribution unit, produce a 400 V three-phase supply rated 7,500 W with an AC400V/10A output. That is the supply European welders and heavy tools expect on site, and it is what makes a battery system a genuine alternative to a diesel genset rather than a substitute for small loads only.
How do I choose a power station for my construction site?
Four steps: list the tools you run in a working day and their continuous draw, decide whether you need 230 V single-phase or 400 V three-phase, multiply capacity by the hours you need between charges, then check the weight and handling you can accept on site. If you would rather not do that by hand, send us the tool list — we size systems from real load data.
Is Hitama available for OEM and ODM projects?
We work with partners on OEM and ODM projects. Tell us the configuration, voltage and volume you are aiming for and we will confirm what is feasible, what has to be tooled, and the lead time. Hitama is the industrial portable energy storage brand of Shenzhen Yusong Technology.
