What we process, why we process it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have.

1. Controller

2. What data we process

This website processes two kinds of data only: (1) information you enter yourself in the enquiry form; and (2) technical access data generated automatically while you browse. We do not profile users, we never sell or rent data to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted on a server at Alibaba Cloud in Singapore. When you visit, the server records the technical information necessary to serve the site and keep it secure — such as the time of access, the requested address, the browser identifier and the IP address.

  • Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the security and stable operation of the website).

4. Enquiry form and enquiries

When you submit an enquiry we collect what you enter in the form: name, company, country, email address, product of interest and your message, together with a record of which page the form was submitted from.

That information is used for one purpose only: to answer your enquiry, quote, send you material and — if you wish — continue the business conversation.

  • Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into one) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries).
  • Recipients: our sales mailbox, on an enterprise mail service provided by Alibaba Cloud. We do not pass enquiry data to any third party for that party’s own purposes.

5. Website analytics (no cookies)

We use a self-hosted, first-party statistic to understand how the site is used — which pages are read, where visitors arrive from, how long they stay. It relies on no third-party service and does not track you across sites.

For this we record: the page path, the previous page on this site, the external referrer, the page language, the dwell time, the browser identifier (truncated to 200 characters) and the IP address.

  • The session marker is held in the browser’s sessionStorage (a random 16-character hexadecimal value) and disappears when the tab is closed. We set no cookies, which is why this site needs no cookie consent banner while you browse.
  • Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understanding use of the site and detecting faults and abuse).
  • Retention: at most 14 months, then deleted automatically.

6. Cookies

We do not set any cookies while you browse this site, and we do not use local storage for persistent identification.

If we ever introduce third-party analytics or advertising tools, we will ask for your consent before they are switched on and update this policy at the same time — never the other way round.

7. Recipients and processors

To run the website we use the following service providers, who process data only on our instructions:

  • Alibaba Cloud: hosting for the website and the database, server located in Singapore.
  • Alibaba Cloud enterprise mail: sending and receiving enquiry email.

8. Transfers to third countries

Our company is established in China and the website and database are hosted in Singapore. Your data is therefore transferred to and processed in countries outside the European Union.

We take appropriate safeguards: we choose service providers bound by contract, and we transfer only the data necessary for the purposes described above. You may ask us for further detail using the contact details above.

9. How long we keep data

Website analytics data is kept for at most 14 months and then deleted automatically.

Enquiry records are kept for as long as is necessary to handle the enquiry and any business relationship that follows from it; statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.

10. Your rights

Within the scope of applicable law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15), to rectification (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — usually the authority of the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.

11. Automated decision-making

We do not carry out automated decision-making, and we do not profile you.

If the way we process data changes, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
