What this page is for
For dangerous goods, what decides a booking is not the product description — it is the document. Freight forwarders and importers check the classification, the packaging type and the weights before they accept a shipment, and they check them against numbers, not against assurances.
This page therefore lists only what is covered by documents, each with its number, issuing authority and date. Every item below can be verified with the issuing authority by you or by your forwarder.
How this page handles evidence: for every document we state the exact scope — which directive, which standards, which model, and what is not covered. A claim without a scope is worthless for your checks, so the scope sits next to every item here.
Dangerous goods classification
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| UN number | 3480 |
| Hazard class | 9 (lithium-ion batteries) |
| Physical state | solid |
| Mode of transport | sea (waterway) |
| Packing group / category | II |
| Basis of packaging testing | IMDG Code (International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code) |
Class 9 / UN 3480 is the standard classification for lithium-ion batteries in sea transport. It is not specific to our product — but it determines which packaging, which marking and which documents a shipment requires.
Packaging
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| Packaging type | double-wall corrugated fibreboard box |
| Nominal dimensions | 500 × 488 × 350 mm |
| Packaging mark | `4G/Y40/S/26` · `CN/C530329` · `PI:6232` |
| Tested for | 500 units (performance test, lot of 2026-06-20) |
`4G` designates a fibreboard box; `Y40` states the tested load class. This mark must be visible on every shipment — your forwarder checks it against the document.
Weight per unit
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| Gross weight per unit | 30.5 kg |
| Net weight per unit | 28 kg |
| Packed goods | portable power supply, solid |
These two figures matter for your calculation, not for the product description:
- Gross drives freight cost, pallet and container planning.
- Net is the figure carried at customs and in the customs declaration.
- The 2.5 kg difference is packaging and packing material per unit — across a multi-unit shipment it adds up, and it belongs in your calculation.
Give us a quantity and we will calculate the gross weight and packing volume for the shipment before you request freight rates.
Documents we can provide
Both documents were issued by the Chinese entry-exit inspection authority (competent customs authority). They can be verified directly using the numbers below:
| Document | Number | Issued | Valid until |
|---|---|---|---|
| Packaging performance (包装容器性能鉴定结果单) | `326N53410014463Z01` | 2026-06-24 | 2027-06-19 |
| Packaging use (出境危险货物运输包装使用鉴定结果单) | `326N53100005472Z01` | 2026-09-08 | 2027-06-19 |
The use certificate references the same number `326N53410014463Z01` in its "performance test number" field — the two documents belong together and are not independent of each other.
Packaging user named on the document: our production facility. The name appears in the document and is disclosed on request.
We do not publish the production facility name on this website. It appears in the documents, and we disclose it on request so that you or your forwarder can check it against the wording.
CE marking: the scope we can document
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| Basis | EMC Directive 2014/30/EU |
| Standards tested | EN IEC 61000-6-3:2021 · EN IEC 61000-6-1:2019 · EN IEC 61000-3-2:2019+A1:2021 · EN 61000-3-3:2013+A1:2019+A2:2021 |
| Report number | A2409245-C01-R01-V1 |
| Test house | Shenzhen Alpha Product Testing Co., Ltd. |
| Manufacturer named | our production facility (named in the test report; available on request) |
| Model named | `90440` (as named in the report) |
| Test / report date | 2024-10-14–15 · 2024-11-01 |
| Result | Pass |
| Availability | test report available on request |
What this covers — and what it explicitly does not:
| | |
|---|---|
| ✅ covered | electromagnetic compatibility — emissions and immunity under the EMC Directive |
| ❌ not covered | LVD / product safety (e.g. EN IEC 62368-1) · RoHS · GS · TÜV · UL · ISO |
For the areas not covered we hold no report. We therefore do not present them as met — and we do not write "CE (LVD, EMC, RoHS)", because we can only document the EMC part. If you need a safety or RoHS statement for your import, tell us: we will name the gap rather than paper over it.
The test report applies to the tested type `90440` and the tests carried out in it — not automatically to every model in the series. We therefore do not attach it to other model designations.
We hold the full report and provide it on request. We do not publish it on this page, because it contains information relating to a customer project — we treat our customers' data the way we would want ours treated.
UN38.3: what we can say
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| Report number | TSZ24HS063A01-01 (17 pages) |
| Test laboratory | 深圳天溯计量检测股份有限公司 (CNAS L5138 / ilac-MRA) |
| Holder / applicant | Shenzhen Ruichengxinda Technology Co., Ltd. — a company within our group, not a third party |
| Model in the report | `eco Powerstation 5000` |
We deliberately do not write "we passed UN38.3". The report is issued to another company in our group and names the model `eco Powerstation 5000`. Anyone checking it must see both — holder and model. If you need a UN38.3 report in the exporter's name and covering your ordered model, that is a separate engagement; tell us which shipment and we will work out the route.
Who does what in a shipment
| Role | Company |
|---|---|
| Exporter (contracting party, issuer of the invoice — identical to this website's imprint) | Shenzhen Yusong Technology Co., Ltd. |
| Production facility (manufacturing and packing) | not disclosed publicly (named in the document; available on request) |
| Brand | HITAMA |
Invoice issuer and production facility are two different companies, and we state that openly. The invoice issuer is named in this website’s imprint; the production facility is not named here — it appears in the documents and is disclosed on request.
Why we state the scope of every piece of evidence
On this page we document the EMC part of CE marking and the transport and packaging side — and we name the areas where we can produce nothing. These three rules explain why we go into this level of detail:
- Certificates attach to a model and to a holder. A test report applies to the tested type and the person named on it. It does not transfer automatically to other models.
- Claims get verified. Forwarders and importers ask the issuing body. A claim that cannot be confirmed there does not cost one shipment — it costs the basis of the cooperation.
- Vague claims are worse than none. "Certified" without a document number is worthless for your checks.
So: ask us for the evidence that your shipment and your import country require. We will tell you what exists and what does not — with a number, or with a plain statement that it does not exist.
What you should request from every supplier
This list is manufacturer-neutral. It applies to us and to any competitor:
1. UN38.3 test summary for the specific model — not for the series, not for a neighbouring model.
2. **Issuer *and* applicant of the UN38.3 report. Check whether the applicant is the supplier itself.** A report issued to a different company proves nothing about your supplier.
3. MSDS / safety data sheet for the specific model.
4. Packaging evidence for the hazard class, with a number (the documents above are an example of what that looks like).
5. The mode of transport the evidence applies to — sea, air and road have different requirements.
6. Who handles the shipment, and whether it will be declared as dangerous goods.
Point 2 is the decisive one and the one least often checked. A UN38.3 report issued to a company other than the seller says nothing about the product being sold to you.
Product parameters often mistaken for certificates
| Item | What it is | What it is not |
|---|---|---|
| IP54 | a degree-of-protection parameter, declared as a product specification | not an IP test certificate — unless a test report is produced |
| "fanless" | a construction statement | not a certification |
| UN 3480 / class 9 | the classification of the dangerous goods | not evidence of a UN38.3 test |
| `CE — EMC Directive` | the EMC Directive (emissions + immunity) | not evidence for LVD / product safety or RoHS |
The distinction is not hair-splitting: in tenders and at forwarders the two are handled differently, and a missing test report is noticed there.
